My name is Ashley Kvaal, I am currently in my third year at CSU. I will be graduating next spring with a degree in Marketing, a minor in Journalistic Storytelling and Reporting, and a certificate in Market Research and Data Analytics. 

I’m currently working as a server at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Fort Collins, Colorado. Through this role, I have learned important time management and selling skills that will benefit me and my future career.

I also just accepted a summer internship role at TTI, where I will be learning the companies best practices, selling techniques, and public speaking skills.

Website Creation

In my Digital Marketing course, I have learned how to create usable and visually appealing websites. I learned many functionality skills such as how to import pictures, adjust margins, and create pages. As well as more challenging SEO skills, specifically learning how to connect websites to Google Analytics to be able to track user data.

This certification from HubSpot helped me gain knowledge of many key concepts in digital marketing. These include: inbound marketing strategies, website structure and performance, search engine optimization (SEO), key performance indicators (KPIs), developing high preforming emails, and social media channels. Completing this certification has provided me with the necessary skills to create effective, high-quality marketing campaigns.

Google Analytics Certification

The Google Analytics certification equipped me with the knowledge to effectively use Google Analytics to track and analyze website and app performance. It teaches skills such as setting up data collection, understanding user behavior, creating reports, and identifying actionable insights to improve digital strategies. This certification will help me make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and achieve business goals.

Google Adwords Certification

The Google Adwords Certification teaches how to effectively create, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns using Google Ads. It covers key topics such as campaign setup, keyword research, audience targeting, and performance tracking. By earning this certification, I have gained valuable knowledge of how to maximize marketing goals through ads. Making this a critical digital marketing skill to have to improve digital platforms.
